Yamaha MT Motorcycle Series

Image Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, Yamaha, was celebrating their 50th anniversary by hitting hard with their MT motorcycles series at the Paris Motorcycle Show (Mondial du Deux Roues).

The MT-01 motorcycle received a smaller brother, the MT-03, and a new MT series was shown as a concept motorcycle, the MT-0S (S for Sport).

We'd already seen the 1670 cc V-twin MT-01 arrive last year, but it remains an interesting motorcycle to see. A successful successor to Yamaha's vMax motorcycle, the MT-01 is a sight to be seen.

With its 45 hp (33.4 kW) and 56.2 Nm torque, the motorcycle is ideal for the city. With its 1420 mm wheelbase and 805 mm saddle height, you can easily move your Yamaha through dense traffic. The gas tank holds 15 liters.

Yamaha showed off their concept motorcycle at the Paris Show, the MT-0S (S for Sport). Based on the 1670 cc MT-01 engine, but with a new styling and cowlings, the MT-0S may see the light of day in the near future as the MT Sport version.

The motorcycle looked the business. The headlights are out of the ordinary. I just wonder how much of it will remain when it reaches production...?
