Custom Cycle Helps During Saskatoon Blizzard Print E-mail
Friday, 12 January 2007

The blizzard of 2007 - that's what they will be referring to it as for years to come.

High winds and 10 inches of snow in a 24 hour period ground Saskatoon and northern Saskatchewan to a halt.  People trying to leave work early and get home struggled through hours of traffic, stuck vehicles and accidents.

However, Custom Cycle in Saskatoon came to the aid of many by providing snow machines to first responders in Saskatoon.  Fire personnel were saving people from stuck and abandoned vehicles on the outskirts of town riding the snow machines they provided.

Although storms and natural disasters carry with them many horrific tales of human peril - it's stories like Custom Cycle's that remind us that what makes us human is our ability and willingness to help those in need.
