Displacement of New Ducati V-Twin Expected to be 1200cc By Dirck J. Edge It has been no secret that Ducati is developing a larger-displacement V-twin sportbike to take on the four-cylinder 1000cc Japanese machines in Superbike racing, as well as on the street. England's MCN is now reporting that the displacement of this new bike will be 1200cc, and that it will be revealed at the Fall motorcycle shows this year. Interestingly, MCN is also expecting the new machine to revert back to the major styling cues from the iconic 916 . . . perhaps the most beautiful Ducati ever made (and, some would argue, the most beautiful motorcycle ever made).
