Months before we'll see a production version of the all-new BMW F800s here in North America, a specially modified pre-production version was piloted by former stunt world champion Christian Pfeiffer this past February at Stunt Wars in Florida. If you're as curious about this new BMW as we are, then we hope you don't mind the liberties we've taken with BMW's German-language press release (translated via BabelFish) so we could justify the publication of these photos. Enjoy!

From the BMW Press Release, and with our apologies for the translation:

The former Stunt world champion Christian Pfeiffer leads this year its breath-robbing motorcycle-cheats on the new BMW F 800 S forwards. Already with test runs with prototypes in the last year Chris Pfeiffer showed up spontaneously enthusiastically from spielerischen handiness and the perfect engine characteristic of the fire-new BMW of two-cylinder. For its desire for an F 800 as new "implement" already at the beginning of the Freestyle season and far before the start of the customer distribution BMW motorcycle wanted not to lock. Christian Pfeiffer was made available a vehicle from the pilot lot, which was then modified accordingly by him.

The feuerprobe existed the new motorcycle in February with the first employment in the context of the "Stunt Wars" in the sunny Florida. The "Stunt Wars" is the largest Freestyle motorcycle competition in the USA and it applies among the professionals as an unofficial world championship. At first attempt the 35-jaehrige Chris Pfeiffer won against the best Stunt professionals of the world. It showed under other not seen so far ever, free-handles driven Wheelie circles with following 230° turn.

The modified F 800 S was the only two-cylinder in the field of the competition, which had usually begun with four-cylinders. Particularly the engine characteristic of the F 800 did it to Pfeiffer: "the engine hangs very directly on the gas and the drive converts that spontaneously and sensitivly, much better than my previous motorcycle with chain. That is perfect exactly what I for my Stunts always wished yourself. I have me probably felt on this vehicle, the balance is class from the outset, there had I nearly nothing more to to do, nearly everything remained standard."

Christian Pfeiffer will deny 2006 all in its Stunt appearances with the BMW F 800 S. With its first appearance in Europe in the context of the motorcycle fair Zurich, in the middle of February, were the spectators of full enthusiasm for the almost unbelievable driving maneuvers and feats, which them Chris Pfeiffer on this motorcycle demonstrated.
