Cruiser Motorcycle Signal® Mirrors Introduced in Sleek New Design Print E-mail
Friday, 31 March 2006

Sheboygan, Wisconsin -- Muth Mirror Systems is introducing Signal® Mirrors that have a sleek overall design for cruiser motorcycles. This cool safety accessory is engineered for Harley-Davidson (MY 1982-2006), Indian Chief (MY 1999-2002), and most metric cruiser cycles with 10mm mounting stems.

Motorcycles are typically the smallest vehicle on the road and accessories that notify other drivers ensure the safety of the riders and help prevent accidents. The turn indicator activates an attention-getting red LED flashing chevron Through-The-Glass™ of the corresponding Signal® Mirror to alert drivers in the “blind spots.” Amber LED’s have a dual function of operating as running lights and as a Forward Face Signal®. When hazard lights are used, signals flash in both mirrors.

The addition of a Brake Module adds a steady on signal in both mirrors as well as the forward face.

The Signal® Mirror housings are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and are finished with high-quality triple chrome plating. The new mirror measures 3-1/2” high x 5-1/2” wide x 3/4” deep and is sleeker and thinner compared to the existing design.

Unlike the adjacent drivers who see a highly visible lighted display, the driver of the cycle equipped with Signal® Mirrors sees a subtle tell-tale display. This reminds the rider the mirror is activated.

Other specific Signal® Mirror kits are available for Honda Gold Wing GL1800 and GL1500 models, and the BMW K1200LT cycle. Complete details for each kit and a searchable listing can be found on the web site www.muthco.com
