Sturgis Museum To Raffle New Harley
Sturgis Harley-Davidson and Black Hills Harley-Davidson will show their support for the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame again this year by donating Harley’s exciting new model, the FLHX Street Glide, for the 2006 Museum raffle. “When I contacted Jim Burgess at Black Hills Harley-Davidson to ask if we could count on their support again in 2006, I already knew the answer.” said Museum Director Pepper Massey-Swan. “The people at our local Harley shops believe strongly our mission, ‘to preserve the great history of motorcycling’, and understand the importance of having a motorcycle museum in Sturgis. Their continued support helps us to succeed in ways we never imagined possible.” The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, holds an annual raffle and offers three prizes on each $10.00 ticket. This year’s prizes are: a 2006 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide; a Scott Jacobs signed print entitled “Pushing the Limit”; and a one of a kind commemorative Henry 44-40 rifle. Tickets will be available for purchase on Monday 9 January 2006 on the Museum web site www.sturgismuseum.com, by telephone 605.347.2001 or at the Museum.
