Suzuki World Exclusives!
The novelties are streaming in... much to our pleasure... and yours too most probably. It's Suzuki's turn now to show us what they will unveil at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show! Let's start with a futuristic concept that adopts a new generation 1100cc block, but that's all we know for now... Suzuki seems to like the "short" exhaust pipes lately, because after the GSX-R 750, this bike adopts them too, and sitting on this bike will probably be comfortable too thanks to the gigantic seat. We'll try to find out more about this "Stratosphere"!
Then we have the GSR 400, quite a nice one, and maybe inspired on the latest Fazer with a few Suzuki touches like the lights on the gas tank like on the B-King. A serious competitor of the Hornet 400. It will most probably in Europe with the 600cc engine (of the Bandit) sometime in 2006.
Third up is the new SkyWave (Burgman), a hugely anticipated bike here in Japan that gets much better aesthetics than the current version! The engine has been reviewed too of course and adopts the DOHC system and the bike also gets wider tires and a storage space of 60l!! This SkyWave 2006 seems to be ready for the adventure... We end in beauty with the new GSX-R 750! The 1000's little sister lives up to the promise and delivers a very nice design, a lower centre of gravity and a more compact machine with the "very short" exhaust pipes. Yamaha and Suzuki have the same opinion on this topic it seems... ![]() ![]() ![]()
