Here is SMA member 2StrokeColdSmoke's ride. A 1979 Yamaha RD400. I don't know about you but I love the look of this ride. He posted it in the showroom a while back and I thought it deserved a more prominent position in the site so more could appreciate this ride. The new bikes are all nice and everything but there is something to be said about a guy that's keeping the old stuff alive and looking well.

I have noticed that sometimes when I upload a pic into a gallery, it says that it uploaded successfully, but when I go to check out the picture, it's a dead link.
I figured out that the files that this was happening to had filenames that are too long.
Shorten the filename and you're good to go.
Please note that when you go to delete the dead picture, it will tell you that it was unable to delete the photo, but it will delete it from showing in your gallery, so don't mind that notice. This is simply due to the fact that the picture cannot be found because it didn't actually upload due to the filename issue.

As we all know by now, girls & glamour sell motorcycles (or at least, that's what manufacturers think ... but we'll not tell them otherwise). So, just to change the monotony of all those motorcycle photos, here are some of the girls that were present at the Paris Motorcycle show, the Mondial Du Deux Roues.
Aprilia - Sporty girls...
BMW - Pipes and slippers ladies...
Honda - Elegance...
Kawasaki - Mondane....
Peugot - Ready for cocktails...
Yamaha - By far the sexiest ladies....and a lot of them ....
Check them out below!

How you can support SMA
|
|
Friday, 30 September 2005 |
|
As you may have already noticed, Site Supporter" shows up under some people's name in their profiles. This is for people who have donated money to SMA...and these are the people that will be eligible for our free raffles.
How do you become a Site Supporter you ask?
Easy! You donate to SMA!
A donation of AT LEAST $10.00 will get you Site Supporter status. But of course, all amounts, LARGER or smaller, will be welcomed openly! Donations of larger amounts will not get you special privileges in SMA raffles...but remember, you donate because you want to help a cause...not for some elite status. Having Site Supporter status in your profile is merely a representative thank you for your financial support.
If you wish, you can request that your donation remain anonymous as well.
