The 2nd Annual Bikers Everywhere Supporting our Troops Ride in Canada took place on Sunday, July 13th, 2008, and met with great support!

We had approximately 80 registered bikes, and 105 registrants in total. After all costs were paid, the total donation for this year was a whopping

$4,975.00!

That's an average of just over $47.00 per participant. Special thanks to Wally and Rainy Thibodeau, who won the prize for highest pledges earned with an astonishing $1,300.00!

All proceeds will go directly to the Sapper Mike McTeague Wounded Warriors Fund, as always, to support the wonderful work they do for injured Canadian soldiers!

T-shirts, patches and stickers from the ride are now on sale through the website! Scroll down to order!

Our gratitude is heartily extended
to the Hespeler Legion for not only
hosting the event, but also for donating
these beautiful ribbons to each participant
in the 2007 ride. In conjunction with our invitation
to each rider to pay their respects to those
who have fallen in defense of our great country
while receiving their cards at each of the four
cenotaphs, this was another way in which to
instill a respect for the brave men and women
who have fought to preserve the freedoms we
enjoy today.

Lest we forget..

Thank you to everyone who participated in 2007 - through your generosity, we are able to make a $1,720.00 donation to the Wounded Warriors Fund! That's over $12.00 per person for our 2007 participants in donations! Additionally, we were able to donate all of the unused barbecue supplies (burgers, hot dogs, buns, pop & water) to the Hespeler Legion as a token of our appreciation to their hosting the event, and have heard they will be throwing a fundraising barbecue to support the Legion activities. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated - Tanker and Mistress K salute you, and hope we can count on your support in 2008!
