Website
Women in the Wind is an international association of over 800 female motorcycle riders. We are women who have developed a passion for riding motorcycles at some point in our lives. ‘Bridge City Thunder’ was started in 2004 and is one of five WITW chapters in Western Canada.

In addition to sharing a love of riding motorcycles, we consider our alliance as an opportunity to contribute to our community. We are very thankful for the participation and generosity of individuals and businesses in Saskatoon who have helped us with successful events like the following:
  • Hosting a Steak Night in 2005 to raise money for the Saskatoon Breast Health Centre
  • Charity drives in 2006 to donate food, clothing and household items to Interval/Adelle House
  • Helping a local wheelchair athlete purchase a racing wheelchair enabling him to compete in the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing, China
  • Organizing the first ever Ladies Motorcycle Rally in Saskatoon in 2007 where we raised money for the Saskatoon Crisis Nursery and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
One of the greatest benefits of being a WITW member is the friendship and support of other female riders. We also focus on education in motorcycle safety and maintenance as well as promoting a positive image to the public of women on motorcycles.

We always welcome new members and encourage women to join us for a meeting or a ride.

Please contact bridgecitythunder@hotmail.com or call (306) 341-2641 for more information.

Come and join us as we plan another great riding season!
