Flushmount
Flushmounts are non stock signal lights that are generally flush with the body of the bike.  Rather than most signal lights that are connected via a "stem", these types of lights are flush with the body.  They are generally seen more on sportbikes which have fairings that provide many good places to mount the flush signal.

There are two types, the standard flushmount that is really flush with the bike and the billet style (more common) that still have a signal light lens that "bulbs" out from the bodywork slightly.

Although flushmounts can really clean up the look of your ride, they are illegal in many provinces and states and in Saskatchewan, you cannot take your road test with a motorcycle that has them.  The reason is that they can also make you less visible when signaling your intentions to turn, which on a motorcycle can prove dangerous.
