We received the following message from the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC). We know that there are sometimes insurance limitation regarding riding our older motorcycles to work, but it would be good to support this initative where possible.

Let's try to make a real showing for this. For those who, like myself, have gotten to the stage where they only work at home only work at home, why not organize a retirees' ride.

7th Annual Ride to Work Day
Ride your motorcycle or scooter on this day to demonstrate:

The number of motorcyclists to the general public and to politicians.
That motorcyclists are from all occupations and all walks of life.
That motorcyclists can reduce traffic and parking congestion in large cities.
That motorcycles are part of the soultion to reducing fuel consumption, and reducing greenhouse gases.
That motorcycles are for transportation as well as recreation.
That motorcycling is a social good
