Two way communication? 5 Months, 1 Week ago
Does anyone in Saskatoon rent out a 2-way comm system for a motorcycle? I'm riding through the states with my brother and don't really want to have to buy a set.

Cheap way to go would be a couple of those small walky talkies (Cobras or Motorola etc). You can buy a ear piece that comes with a voice activated mic

I have a set of Cobra FRS/GMRS that I haven't tried with the voice activation yet. I wasn't sure if the wind noise or bike noise would activate the mic. I'm hoping it works or I guess I could just use the PTT button when I need it.

I did a lot of reading up on the frs. They are supposed to work awesome until highway speeds, and then wind noise is an issue but they are still workable.
Try em out and then post up your thoughts. I am thinking of going that way.
