SGI is looking at ways to promote motorcycle safety. One of the ways that other provinces have done this is to have a "MLA ride for safety".
Please provide feedback as per the following:

...based on the stakeholder meeting, there was expression of interest by the motorcycle community to promote motorcycle safety in the province.
We have been thinking about ways of doing this, and one way we found was an MLA ride for safety. The MLA ride is used in BC and MB at the start of the riding season to bring media attention to the topic (reminding people that the season is beginning).
Members of the MC community come to the legislature and take the MLAs for much publicized rides through the city (probably up and down Albert St). I was wondering if you could present this idea to your members on your websites to get their opinions on a few topics, such as:- a catchy name to distinguish this MLA ride from the ones being done in other provinces (both are called the "MLA ride for safety")
- a theme for the ride; something along the lines of "look out for motorcycles"
We have already talked to the Manager of SGI Traffic Safety Promotions and she like the idea of an MLA run. If we can show her that the MC community supports such a project (ie from your forum posts), then I think this is something we can definitely go ahead with.
