Am I missing something? Wouldn't it be easier to spin a tire while going up hill?

I'm not saying that thing doesn't have mad power, but I think that any bike would be more likely to spin a tire while going up hill than on a flat surface or a downgrade. I never took physics but I think that would be right..no?

You are right in that its easier to start to spin a tire going uphill. Then when the tire starts to catch traction and the torque required to move the bike up a mountain kicks in, you slow down fairly fast. What I meant was he was able to lay black rubber down almost the entire ride up - slightly over a kilometer- or at least until his tire went BOOM - whichever happened first. The guy had more torque in his bike than most pickup trucks.

His power to weight ratio on this bike is slightly better than a Suzuki Hyabusa AND he has WAY more of the power available on the low end. I'm not saying a Hyabusa couldn't dust him over the long haul, aerodynamics and a more sustainable high rpm - just that this bikes pickup would be unbelievable.
