Just bought my first bike and wanting to see if anyone wants/has advice to help me out. Trying to learn to ride but very nervous....HELP ME!!!! Anyone wanna go for a ride to help me learn would be awesome.

Okay, welcome aboard and congrats on the new bike.&nbsp; First comment I&#039;d have is sign up for the Motorcycle Saftey Foundation course.&nbsp; You can enroll here http://www.sasksafety.org/programs/motorcycle.html by printing out the form or call them.<br /><br />Now, having said all that, if you&#039;d like someone to go for a ride, I&#039;m available MOST evenings and sometimes on weekends.&nbsp; Drop me a message and maybe we can hook up.

Welcome.<br /><br />As the others have offered, I am also available most nights to go for a ride. I just need to know in advance so I can actually plan to go. If I don&#039;t I will usually get busy doing something else.

I too am a fairly new rider. I went to Sask Safety Course 2 years ago and would seriously recommend it to anyone, new or old. My husband has been riding for many years and when I got home I taught him a few riding tricks that he was amazed worked! I think that even taking the course every few years would not be a bad idea to refresh a person and also break some bad habits. <br />also there is a site called AboutMotorcycles.com written by a guy named Walter Kern. He has some very good ideas too. It is American, but he has good tips for newbies.

Definatly sign up for the safety course.&nbsp; It will be the best money you ever spend on your motorcycling experiance.<br /><br />Of course I&#039;m a little biased as I am an instructor for the motorcycle safety course.&nbsp; <br /><br />Go sign up you can still get in this year!<br /><br />Paul
