I read this on the net:

Triumph executives have been quoted as saying "Two entirely new models are coming for 2006". This is great news as Triumph has been highly successful with their Rocket III model introduced last year. The rumors suggest a new three-cylinder 650-800cc sport bike. The other bike rumored is a very large displacement parallel-twin similar to the current Bonneville line-up. This parallel twin would be built using 2 (out of the 3) cylinders from the Rocket III (1530cc displacement). This would make it the largest parallel-twin motorcycle ever manufactured by a major motorcycle manufacturer.

Yamaha is also buzzing with a new 2006 Yamaha FZ1. The new 2006 Yamaha FZ1 is rumored to use the more powerful and updated current Yamaha R1 engine with it's 150 horsepower. Also in the Yamaha rumour mill is another naked bike from Yamaha as Naked bikes are becoming more popular.

Ducati, not to be out done is rumored to enhance their Ducati 999 to received a larger displacement engine, possibly a 1100cc. Will Ducati be able to now take the Japanese superbikes head-on?

Suzuki is rumored to be adding not one, but two more naked bikes to their 2006 line-up. As we mentioned, naked bikes are gaining in popularity as riders are re-discovering the "do-it-all" motorcycle.

The first naked bike is rumored to be a 1300cc seen at the 2001 Tokyo Motorcycle Show called the Suzuki Boost King (See photo above)
