Tool kits 3 Years, 3 Months ago
This topic has come up recently on another board and I thought I'd post the same question here. What do people carry for their tool kits. For me, I typically carry the following:

Open end wrenches - each end different size
A few sockets and small driver
Locking pliers
Multi screwdriver
Allen key/Torx folding wrench
Zip ties
Soft ties (velcro)
Wire and a few assorted crimp-on connectors
Small multimeter
LED flashlight
Plug 'n go tire repair (BMW only - Harley has tube tires)
Electrical tape
Small bottle of oil (like from a sewing machine or men's electric razor kit)
A few of the more common nuts/bolts for that bike

And the most important of all, a cell phone and credit card or warranty card to use when all else fails.

Actually, all of the above fit into a men's leather shaving kit - about 8" x 4" dia. Even on bike w/o saddlebags, I've strapped this to the handlebars.
