I'd try that too, hope that is all it is, but even if it is the steering head, the bearing isnt very expensive, its the labour of taking it apart. Especially when I did mine, I had to take the fairing and all the electronics (stereo, cb, intercom, etc.) off before removing the forks and triple trees. Luckily I have a good friend who knows bikes inside out and is always willing to help. :helpsmilie:<br />It is very smooth now, except I know what you mean about limits. On my bike I have found that if I were to go about 190km/h say, I would have to have both hands on the bars or else it would start to have a slight wobble. :eeksmilie:, but I am pretty sure that is do to my bar end tassles wipping in the wind.
