I was going to post this within General Bike Discussion but I thought we could make it just a more general thread.<br /><br />What pisses you off whilst in traffic in a cage (car) or on a bike?? :rant: :rant:<br /><br />For me, the big one is people that have NO clue how to merge or even change lanes. (especially in sk it seems)<br /><br />This makes me crazzzy even more so on a bike when I heading out on the highway and I just want to open &#039;er up and some bonehead is in front goin 30 kms when they&#039;re just about to merge into highway traffic :rant: :rant:<br /><br />ARRRRG!!

i think people are under the impression that the paint on the road has an invisible force field extending upwards. no one will merege until the paint is gone! personally i get up to speed as fast as possible(as with every other driving situation) then take the first chance to get over without interupting the flow of traffic. people should have to study the dynamics of traffic flow in depth while they are learning to drive.

After a recent incident, I would have to say cagers that don&#039;t pay attention.&nbsp; :rant: :rant:<br /><br />I was riding down Saskatchewan (with a passenger), when the woman driving in the left lane decided to move to the right lane with me beside her :censoredsmilie: :wallbash: :rant:. I swerved hard to the right, and rolled on the throttle even harder. I managed to get out of there just before she swiped us into the curb, but not before she actually made contact. As I was getting past, her front wheel or fender clipped my highway peg, and spun it backwords on the crash bar. I found out after that the car was actually pressing on my passengers leg.&nbsp; &gt; The woman followed untill I came to a stop sign where she pulled up beside to see if we were OK. If I had know at that time she was pressing on my passengers leg, the out come would have been much different&nbsp; :rant: :censoredsmilie: !!!!<br /><br />This is the closest I have ever come to having been taken out. When we were talking later, we mentioned that it was actually lucky we were on the bike. Since this woman moved over without so much as looking, it would have been much worse if we were in a car that would have been using the full lane. As it was, I had the room to move over, and the power to accelerate out of the way.<br /><br /><br />I have heard it many times before. When it comes to riding, &quot;Its not if you dump your bike, it is when&quot;. And this was way to close to being that time.<br /><br />Sorry for the rant, but I hate stupid people, and when it comes to driving in this city there are way to many people that drive with there heads firmly placed up there ass.&nbsp; :rant:. And now that it is getting cold, I can&#039;t wait for the snow to start falling again, since nobody seams to remember how to drive in it from one winter to another. :bashsmilie:

Same here. I have crashed several times on my older bikes at the farm. I am hoping all of that counts, and that it will never happen with the current bike.
