The difference an inch makes.... 3 Years ago
Now that I have your attention...

Over the years that I've been riding, one of the most frequent complaints I heard is that people new to a bike find it uncomfortable to ride after a short time. Some of that may be due to the motorcycle seat, BUT, its also likely that the handlebars are either adjusted wrong for the rider or just plain wrong for the rider.

For someone of short stature, having the bars one inch back can make a world of difference. Same with the bars being too wide. It fatigues the shoulders, upper trapezoid muscles and lower and upper back.

If you find that you are stiff after a short ride, consider getting someone to look at your handlebars. They are a cheap investment in comfort.
I'm thinking of getting some dragbars for mine....

96mm rise, 3.75" pullback, 27" wide....

That way, no short basturds will be able to ride mah bike...

Seriously...good advice though... O0
