Steve McQueen&#039;s car chase scene in the 1968 movie &quot;Bullitt&quot; still ranks as the most popular car chase scene in Hollywood history, according to a survey. <br /><br />The detective movie, which featured McQueen driving a Ford Mustang in a high-speed chase through the streets of San Francisco, captured 40 percent of the votes in the survey. The email survey was conducted by Hagerty Insurance, a company that insures collectible cars, and had nearly 2,000 respondents. <br /><br />&quot;Bullitt&quot; beat out its nearest rival, the 2000 remake of the movie&quot;Gone in 60 Seconds,&quot; by almost a five to one margin. <br /><br />The action comedies &quot;Smokey and the Bandit&quot; and &quot;The Blues Brothers&quot; took the third and fourth spots. <br /><br />Rounding out the list, the original 1974 version of &quot;Gone in 60 Seconds&quot; finished fifth, followed by &quot;The French Connection&quot;, &quot;Ronin&quot;, &quot;Vanishing Point&quot;, the recent remake of &quot;The Italian Job&quot; and &quot;The Fast and Furious&quot; which claimed the tenth spot. <br /><br />Those films that just missed the cut included the &quot;The Bourne Supremacy,&quot; the Ducati motorcycle scene in &quot;The Matrix Reloaded&quot; and &quot;Days of Thunder&quot; featuring Tom Cruise.<br /><br />------<br /><br />Can you think of any??? I like the truck chase in the opening of Beverly Hills Cop.&nbsp; Maybe that&#039;s just me.

dazed and confused. when the kids get that big caddy or what ever it is, and the guys in the truck chase em so the can whack fuck em. classic movie.
