Thunder City 2 Years, 4 Months ago
After the last post I made in this section, I needed something to counter it with.

I have to say Thunder City is what it is all about when it comes to customer service. I did have a bit of a problem trying to get service while I was in the store over the weekend. So first Monday I called down and talked to the manager. First thing that I heard was an appology O0. This is truely all that I wanted was for someone to say I am sorry that you were not satisfied with the level of service we provided. And this is exactly what I received and a whole lot more. Bruce (the manager that I spoke to) asked when I would be able to come back down to the store. We made arrangements as to a time that would work for both of us.

When I arrived at the store I met Bruce who right away took me over to one of the sales staff. While looking at different helmets and gloves, I asked about other sizes. None were available in stock, but the salesman immediatly offered to order different sizes and models in just so that I could try them. I wasn't asked to pay a deposit, and there is no requirment to actually purchase the gear that is being ordered in for me. When I did actually make my purchase I was also given a great deal on the items that I did select.

I would highly recomend Thunder City to anyone looking at purchasing new gear. They understand what customer service is, and they know who the customer is! I got the feeling that they were willing to do whatever I need so that I would make my purchase from them. And it didn't matter that I was only looking at a helmet or a pair of gloves, and not a major purchase like a bike. However with this type of service they will most likely be the first stop that I make if I am ever in the market for a new bike!

I hear ya Dallas and I completely agree with your thoughts on Thunder City.

They do it right. Period.

Perhaps as more and more people start to realize how great they are and start walking in there with their chequebook rather than other venders...perhaps the other shops will start to re-evaluate their customer service and make changes accordingly.

I know myself, that I always check TC first now and then others if they can't get what I need.

I know that I will be doing that from now on for sure as well. I have also heard comments such as you went to TC? you must have paid a lot for that. But while compairing with other shops there prices are the exact same. But they are willing to help you out, and with being a member hear, you get an awsome deal from TC, so in fact it ends up being cheaper.
