I am getting back into biking this year
I would love to hear any coments on importing a bike into sask - from Canada verses from USA

Importing a bike into the province is super easy. This province has no mechanical safety laws like they do with cars.

All you need to do is take the bike to your nearest claims center and they will mark down the frame and engine VIN numbers and then you are able to insure the bike.

As far as importing one from the states - I'm not sure you'll be much further ahead than trying to find what you're looking for within Canada (or Sask for that matter). Shipping can be killer and going down to get it might be a bit of a pain with the new passport laws and whatnot.

People really start thinking about listing their bikes in the spring. Right now, you might find what you're looking for but the pickins might be a bit slim.

I would keep an eye on the classifieds as well as teh dealers near you. Alot of times they back up the used rides that they sell with a warranty of some sort.

Listings in general will really start picking up in March...
