Given the IE7 problem and the fact I really wanted to trim down the site, I updated SMA today.

Currently, there is only the one theme (template) available and this is very likely the way it will remain except perhaps a mobile template since there are a few users (myself included) who access SMA from mobile devices.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions - post up. As of today, the forum's colour need to be updated and a few other things.

Overall, the site is now half the size as it was before, you should notice a major speed increase of the site.

Well SMA has tons of space, just don't really have anything that will allow users to upload vids or display them for that matter. I could make it so you could upload them as a file in the forum, but others would only have a link to click, it wouldn't embed it like I did above.

Well I think most of the update is done except for a fancy new SMA Header Image (when I get some time) and the forum icons from blue to green.

I am thinking of taking some videos of the rides, but all I have is my digital cam with a 50 second limitation. It would take a passenger to operate that baby.

Well I don't have any vids available right now to test, but I just enabled uploading of videos (.avi, .wmv, .mpg, .mpeg and .mov) so if Daniel (or whoever) would like to test it out...please do so.

Limit is 15MB right now but I dunno if it's actually upload that big a file without timing out.

haha...it literally took 30 seconds to update. It took longer to think of the most common video types than actually making the change.

Hi Kevin just wanted to say that I liked the new layout and love how quickly it loads. I do appreciate as a network admin that its a pain to keep all the IE users happy but they are still the majority of users. Ive looked at most of your site now with Ie and it seems to work fine for me now. Thanks!

And yes, IE causes more problems than anything else. I am hating Microsoft more and more as time goes on...haha. In fact, I got my first Mac (after a 15 year hiatus) over Christmas and I'm in the market for a laptop and I'll be getting a MacBook
